How we came up with
our cattery name.
My sister Lisa, her daughter Brooke and myself (Teresa) went on a Cruise
to the Grand Cayman Islands and Jamaica. And while waiting on one of our flights we went into the airport
bookstore and I found the children's book Catopia (see below). She showed it to Lisa and
both of us thought that would be a cool name for our cattery. But it was't pertaining just to Maine Coons. So after
broading the plane headed to Florida while in the air and mulling it over
and over I
came up with Coontopia and since we live in Kentucky decided to use a K instead of a C.
So that's the story of how our cattery name was born.
